Our basic idea is that the open project description and documentation empower everyone to initially help themselves with technical issues. Besides the documentation, the project websites, and online research, there are many other sources of information for gaining knowledge. We also have a strong community through Segeln-Forum that can help you with questions if you get stuck. However, you should primarily try to solve technical problems yourself. In some cases, this won’t always be possible, for example, if you don’t have the necessary tools. We can provide limited hardware repair services on a voluntary basis through Open Boat Projects. Please bear in mind, however, that this work takes up some of our free time and therefore cannot always be completed promptly. And of course, in such cases, we are always grateful for a small, appropriate donation to enable us to realize further projects for the community.
